Happiness Diary

Explanation

Using the Happiness Diary you get a better view on what you do during a day and on how much you enjoy your daily activities. You list your yesterday activities and rate how happy you felt during each of these. Bar charts will appear on which you can see how much of your time was spend on things you do and don’t like. You will also see how similar people have used their time and which pattern of time use tends to be most satisfying for people in your situation. This all involves clues for possible change of your way of life.

Regular use of the Happiness Indicator will provide you a clearer view on your use of time and on your likes and dislikes. This will help finding a way of life that fits you best, you will make more informed choices. A recent follow-up study shows that it works out that way. Users of the Happiness Indicator became a bit happier indeed. Detail about that study is available here.
